In 1974, Tom Clark served an LDS mission in Italy. What he didn't expect was to fall in love with a handsome Italian Communist. Clark tells the story of his relationship with Gianni and the very difficult choice he faced. Utah filmmaker Genea Gaudet directed Elder, co-produced by VideoWest. The film premiered at Tribeca Film Festival and was featured as a New York Times op-doc.
