We're partnering with Salt Lake filmmaker and photographer Skylar Nielsen on a piece we plan to debut next week, so we wanted to introduce him. Nielsen heads up Vita Brevis Films and this piece earned him the Grand Jury Prize for best documentary short at the 2012 Slamdance Film Festival. The film is the first in Nielsen's PROFESSIONal series, which focuses on what he calls "forgotten trades and practices in an evolving America." It's a profile of Neil Youngberg, a 3rd generation metal fabricator in South Salt Lake.
