We'll cop to this right up front: this isn't a Utah filmmaker. But since Flora Lichtman spent eight years as multimedia editor at Science Friday, she's pretty much public radio family. She and filmmaker/animator Sharon Shattuck are partners at Sweet Fern Productions in New York City, and they recently produced this great paper puppet video on the life of Alfred Russel Wallace. As you may have heard in our RadioWest conversation about Wallace, he's the "other guy" that conceptualized the theory of evolution by natural selection. Everyone knows Darwin, and it's high time Wallace got his due.
