In June of 2010 I was one of the media witnesses for the firing-squad execution of Ronnie Lee Gardner. I co-produced a documentary for KUED that explored the same kinds of questions we've been working through this week on RadioWest. Mostly, though, I was interested in what it was like to watch a man die. Here's an excerpt.
