This film comes from Dave Pilkington. He's from Centerville and his work has focused on family histories and events. It's a story told by Bountiful resident and World War II veteran Jack Tueller. He was a fighter pilot in the war who took his trumpet everywhere. Two weeks after D-Day near Omaha Beach, a German sniper was taking aim at an airstrip construction site where Tueller was stationed.
